Alfredo C. Lopes

Alfred C. Lopez Sr., 81, of Makawao, died July 1, 2005, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, with a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family requests casual attire. Borthwick Norman's Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Lopez was born July 1, 1924, on the Big Island. He was a retired shipyard welder.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth V. "Libby" Lopez; six children, Jerry Lopez, Alfred Lopez Jr., Thomas (Bonnie) Lopez, Patrick Lopez, Adeline Lopez and James Lopez; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
