Matilda M. Majercin (nee Lesak) (1897 - 1997)

Matilda M. (Lesak) Majerchin, 100, formerly of 1302 E. Broadway, Streator, died at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday (May 21, 1997) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Church, Streator, Monsignor Peter Bolerasky officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Solon Funeral Home, Streator, with the Rosary at 7 p.m.

Survivors include one daughter, Rosemary (Ronald) Wilder, Dwight; one daughter-in-law, Marguerite Majerchin, Lombard; two sisters, Margaret Bentlin and Emma Dzuryo, both of Streator; one brother, Edward Lesak, Streator; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
