LITTLETON, Colo. - Christopher Paul Bamford, 35, of Littleton, Colo., passed on Monday, October 31, 2016, with his family by his side. Born in Portsmouth, N.H., he was raised in Stratham, graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1999 and subsequently attended Springfield College. He had been an IT Systems Administrator for Liberty Mutual since 2001.

His family includes his wife Beth, parents Paul and Mary Bamford of Stratham, brother Michael and sister in law Joanna Bamford of New York City, father in law John DeVries and wife Patricia of Gloucester, Mass., maternal grandparents Owen and Mary Callaghan of Dover, N.H., brother in law Nick DeVries and his wife Chrissy of Little Silver, N.J., brother in law John DeVries and his wife Jessica of Gloucester, Mass., along with numerous loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.

As an avid sports enthusiast, Chris faithfully followed his Pats, Bruins, Celtics, and Sox, complemented by the love of his extended family of friends. Countless friendships were nurtured by Chris' attentive planning of gatherings at concerts, games, or dinners at his home. His immediate impact on people was evident in his concern for others, warm greetings, engaging smile, and a laugh provoking joke. His love of Denver, Red Rocks, and surrounding mountain scape enhanced his spirit, which will reside there and live on in each of us. His love of music, coupled with his sarcastic wit and love for comedy buoyed his stubborn persona during his ten month battle with colon cancer.
