Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, Streator. The Rev. Jacob Rose will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Born Aug. 12, 1974, in Streator, she was the daughter of Andrew and Janice (Hayes) Majercin. She married Eric Smith on Jan. 10, 2003, in Ottawa. He survives in Streator.

She also is survived by her parents in Streator; sons, Tanner Casey and Jonah Smith, both of Streator; a daughter, Alexandria "Lexi" Smith, of Streator; a stepdaughter, Zoe Nova Smith, of Streator; sisters, LeeAnn (William "Bill") Morgan, of Streator, and Kabrianna (Jonas) Hirschman, of Texas; and nieces and nephew, Hayley, Hope and Kennadee Morgan and Wyatt Hirschman.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Andrew and Frances Majercin; maternal grandparents, John and Anna Hayes; and her parents-in-law, Donald and Cynthia Smith.

She attended St. Stephen's Grade School and graduated from Streator Township High School, Class of 1992. She earned her C.N.A and L.P.N. from Illinois Valley Community College.

She worked through the years for Oogies Restaurant, Good Smaritan Nursing Home, St. Mary's Hospital and Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
