Frank E. Majercin Sr. 1932-2012

STREATOR ? Frank E.Majercin Sr., 79, of Streator, passed away Wednesday, June 20, at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.

Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Winterrowd Funeral Home, with memorial services at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Frank was born Nov. 18, 1932, in Streator, to Frank E. and Catherine (Benstine) Majercin. He married Betty Blue in 1973. She survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Kathy (Mike) Weishan, of Arizona; stepchildren, Jackie (Leonard) Reeland, JoAnn Trotter and Robert Trotter, all of Streator, and Shelly (David) Sunnen, of Manville; granddaughter, Jenny (Brian) Moyer, of Arizona; 10 stepgrandchildren, 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Roger Majercin, of Toluca; and sister, Lorretta Fuller, of New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, FrankMajercin Jr., and sister, Evelyn Danko.

Frank attended St. Stephen's Grade School and Streator High School. He retired from Anchor Glass in the CMR department after 49 years.

He was a member of the Streator Polish National Alliance, Streator Elks Lodge and St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Frank was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
