Larry,
Thomas Evans is my first cousin 1x removed through the Evans line. His mother was French Canadian, Marie Teresa Marchesault. Her mother, Thomas' grandmother, was Josephine Chartier. Josephine Chartier married Francois Marchesseau. Since I am not really related to the Marchesault/Chartier side, I have not done any further research.
I asked Tom to do his DNA test so that I could explore my Evans lineage.
Does this help?
